Dr Ann V Mitchell

MBChB (Aberdeen University 1984)

Dr Mitchell has been with the practice since 1993 and became a full partner in the Practice in October 2010. Her interests include dermatology, respiratory medicine, women’s health, and hypertension. 

Dr John Kennedy

MBChB, (Aberdeen University 1990)DRCOG, DFSRH.DCH, MRCGP

Dr Kennedy joined as a full time partner on 1st April 2011. He worked as a full time principal GP, in an urban practice in Inverness for 12 years. His interest is in family medicine but also includes cardiovascular, elderly medicine, paediatrics, minor surgery and prescribing.

Dr Jennifer Kennedy

MBChB, (Dundee University 1999), FRCGP, DRCOG DFSRH FHES, MMEDEd,FHEA.

Dr Jennifer Kennedy works part time (2 sessions a week) in the practice. She has a special interest in undergraduate medical education and is Convener for years 1 to 3 at the School of Medicine at Dundee University.

Dr Jennifer Barclay

MBChB (Edinburgh University 1983), MRCGP, DRCOG, DGM

Dr Barclay  works as a Locum with the Practice covering a regular Tuesday afternoon clinic in Balmullo, Wednesday morning clinic at our Leuchars site, and Wednesday afternoons in Balmullo. Previously a full time Partner in General Practice, she also has previous hospital experience in Geriatric Medicine, Palliative Care ad Psychiatry.

Dr Panna Muqit (f)

MBBS (Royal Free & University College London Medical School, 2004), BSc (Hons), FRCGP, DCH, DRCOG, DFSRH


Dr Muqit works 2 sessions a week at the practice, Monday morning at Leuchars and Monday afternoon at Balmullo. Following training in hospital medicine and general practice in London, she relocated to Scotland in 2008. She has a particular interest in medical education and is one of the Year 1 Generalist Clinical Mentors (GCM) on the Scottish Graduate Entry Medicine (ScotGEM) programme. For this, she holds a joint appointment with the University of St Andrews Medical School. She teaches medical students at the practice on Thursdays.

Dr Golnessa Masson (f)

MBBS (Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, 2013), BMedSci, MPhil, MRCGP, DFSRH

Dr Masson works part time in the practice as well as working for Urgent Care Services Fife (UCSF) as an Urgent Care Fellow. She also has interests in primary care research, women's health and medical education. 

Training 

we undertake medical and nursing student training and so we regularly host doctors/nurses in training who work alongside the staff to gain invaluable experience.
