Hospital at Home

This service enables suitable patients to receive treatments normally provided by general medical wards within the comfort of their own home supported by a nursing team. Your GP will be happy to discuss this with you should you require hospital type medical services.

Baby Clinics

  • Leuchars Community Centre: 1st Tuesday of every month 13:30 – 15:00.

Speech Development

Do you live in Fife and have concerns about your child's speech, language or communication skills? There are experienced therapists available to take your calls if you have any questions Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am - 12noon:  East Fife: 01592 717860

Chronic Disease Management

We like to follow up all those with chronic conditions, or on repeat medication, in a structured way. We recommend that patients are reviewed annually, in their birthday month for their major check-up and in-between depending on the condition. The conditions we monitor closely include:

  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy
  • Asthma
  • COPD
  • Stroke
  • Hypothyroid
  • Hypertension
  • Ischaemic Heart Disease
  • Severe Mental Illness

Screening Programs

Our Practice runs active screening programs for:-

  • Weight problems
  • Smoking Cessation
  • Alcohol Advice
  • Pre-pregnancy checks

Ante-Natal Care

By appointment only: If you are newly pregnant and require antenatal care please book directly with the midwife through reception.

Post-Natal Care

By appointment only: on a Thursday morning at Leuchars. Care is shared between the GP and Health Visitors.

Smear Tests

By appointment only with Practice Nurse or GP.

Ear Syringing

In accordance with National Guidance and Practice Policy we will no longer carry out this procedure on Patients with impaired hearing in one or both ears. The Nurse will assess Patients on an individual basis: By Appointment only

Self Care for Dealing with Earwax

Family Planning

Contraceptive implants and Coil fitting by special arrangement with Doctors.

Minor Surgery

By appointment only on alternate Monday afternoons with GP and Practice Nurse (Balmullo only).


For blood taking only. Clinics on Tuesday morning; 08:30 – 10:00 and Tuesday afternoon at Balmullo. Friday morning; 08:30 –10:00 at Leuchars.

Listening Service

The Listening Service provides a confidential and non-judgemental support service for people who need it. Whatever you are going through, whether it’s big or small, don’t bottle it up!  

Maybe you feel anxious, stressed out or depressed. Perhaps you are a Carer needing time for yourself. Maybe you’ve suffered bereavement or have been struggling with your relationships. 

This service will provide a Listening Ear! 

If you are worried about something, feel upset or confused, or just want to talk, ask your GP about the Listening Service. Sessions available on a Wednesday morning by appointment only.
